Dileep from Toronto, CanadaVery nice shot. The soft colors and constrast make it interesting. 17 Nov 2006 5:25pm Aaron Schmidt from Auckland, New ZealandVery nice simple shot. Next time, be sure to crop out those extra white lines (a result from rotating, I assume). 18 Nov 2006 1:21am reddy from United Statesaah this is nice..you are best at this.i now know..sorry for the comments earlier :D 20 Nov 2006 8:25am Anurag from Pune, IndiaDileep: Thanks. Aaron: Thanks, and good observations. Reddy: Let's see some of your work, buddy. 20 Nov 2006 9:25am reddy from United Statesan awsomely typical reply.you want to compare your beautiful photos with my photos and declare the winner ;-) my work...you mean you want to see my photos ? I dont have a camera like yours. I have a reel camera.it doesn't have any megha pixels ;-). each reel costs costs around 100 inr and the quality of the photos from the camera is not even half as good as yours. Am sorry my comments are harsh, but you see you generous people make us "feel free to comment" ;-) The point is this disturbing trend I want to talk abt ...real professional photographers are being sidelined because of this new crop of so called photographers who flaunt expensive cameras and lenses, who can shoot 1000 shots at will but dont know what to do with it and what to shoot with it . It is like you get up in the morning and you see something on the wall that gives you an urge to make another ___ photo of it :D isnt it ?. Its like giving a child a machine gun with unlimited bullets .you know what they would do -shoot at will. Then they make these jaallery on the internet to show off their 'trophies' and desperately invite comments from ppl they know or not and this gives them some kind of weird pleasure. Its better to concentrate on one's business than venture into something that one is not part of. The results are weird like.. engineer-photographer , photographer-engineer, engineering-plumber, plumber-photographer, plumbing-doctor, computing-photographer,photographing-doctor,doctoring-plumber etc etc.The photos they made are greatest testimony for it. Instead we want engineers, doctors, plumbers, and for godsake pure photographer who understand the world of photography :D This piece of 'whatever you chose to call it' is not meant to discourage you from the daily source of endless-pleasure.However I am sorry for this painful disruption(if i.e the case) the same. I chose to write it coz am sure photography is not your daily bread-winner.hope you take it int the right spirit. please 'feeel freee' continue your 'work' further. In many eyes they are real good to outstanding to completely ..da vinci's pride. EDIT - not meant to hurt you but you know **t happens. 20 Nov 2006 11:33am Duncan Galbraith from kyoto, JapanAnurag. this is very good. a simple image which exudes warmth. well done. 20 Nov 2006 12:13pm |
